The calendar on the wall is inflamed,
Page by page, it falls away,
Everyone in commute, in neighborhood and public places
is armed with masks cut out from white clouds.
Wuhan is sick, the shadow of unknown origin
has dimmed the bright red spring couplets and lanterns.
New Year’s wine, flooding the screen of
Wechat Moments,
is diluted, lighter than mineral water.
On the first day of the first lunar month of the Gengzi year,
no one paid New Year calls, no one even smiled.
All the festive customs were deformed,
Afraid to call, afraid to greet,
Afraid that there was only silence after the phone was connected.
Wuhan is sick, brothers and sisters in Wuhan,
Are you all right? Fortunately, we can still talk across the air,
Post a few pictures of bacon, sausage, liqueur,
Let the lively spirit of life refresh the dull air.
There is no demon that cannot be defeated,
no hurdles that cannot be passed,
I have prepared a good pot of wine,

墙上的日历发炎了，
一页一页脱落，白云裁剪的口罩，
武装了交通、社区和场所的公共呼吸。
武汉病了，来路不明的阴影，
暗淡了鲜红的春联和灯笼。
过年的酒，在朋友圈刷屏的惦记里，
稀释了度数，比矿泉水还清淡。
庚子年正月初一，没有人说拜年，
没有人还能够笑容满面。
所有节日的表情变形，
不敢拨打电话，不敢问候，
害怕接通之后只有静音。
武汉病了，在武汉的兄弟姊妹，
还好吗？还好就隔空说说话，
晒几张图片，腊肉、香肠、烧酒，
让活色生香，涤荡过于沉闷的空气。
没有降不了的妖，过不去的坎，
我已经备了一壶上好的酒，
等门前封条撕了，一二三，干！

Liang Ping, currently living in Chengdu, has edited “Red Rock” and “Stars” and is still editing “The Cottage” and “Young Writer”.
He has published twelve volumes of poems “Family Tree”, “Winged Ears”, “Lip Blossom”, “Time Notes”, as well as a collection of prose essays “The Sayings of Confucious by a River”, a collection of poetry reviews “The Posture of Reading” and a novel “Chaotianmen”. He has won the Second China Book Special Award, Sichuan Literature Award, Bashu Literature and Art Award, Guo Moruo Poetry Award of “Chinese Writers”, October Literature Award, and Beijing Literature Award. He is currently a member of the Committee of the Chinese Writers’ Association, deputy director of the Poetry Committee of the Chinese Writers’ Association, vice president of the Sichuan Writers’ Association, chairman of the Chengdu Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and dean of the Chinese Poetry Research Institute of Sichuan University.


梁平，现居成都，主编过《红岩》、《星星》，还在编《草堂》、《青年作家》。出版有诗集《家谱》、《长翅膀的耳朵》、《嘴唇开花》、《时间笔记》等十二卷，以及散文随笔集《子在川上曰》、诗歌评论集《阅读的姿势》和长篇小说《朝天门》。曾获第二届中华图书特别奖、四川文学奖、巴蜀文艺奖金奖、《中国作家》郭沫若诗歌奖、十月文学奖、北京文学奖。现为中国作家协会全委会委员、中国作协诗歌委员会副主任、四川省作家协会副主席、成都市文学艺术界联合会主席、四川大学中国诗歌研究院院长。
