I hear the spring water runs through the tree trunks
I hear the sunlight penetrating the leaves
I hear the bird chirping
Which drops from the branches
I hear the wind flowing
The clouds precipitating
And the echo of the splashes
There are myriad of sounds resounding
Yet the lips of the big tree don't move
Just like the master that can speak with the stomach
Stand up and store
All the sounds of the world together

听阳光滤过树叶

从树枝上跌落
听风的流淌

如会腹语的大师站立

An ear of wheat
Is growing in the field
A poem
Is thus born

一条鱼 游动在水中
一朵云 飘浮在空中
一头虎 徜徉在山岭
一穗麦 生长在田野

Gao Hongbo, pseudonym Xiang Chuan, children's literature, prose writer and poet. Born in December 1951, his birthplace is Kailu County, Inner Mongolia. As a member of the communist party of China, Gao Hongbo was a graduate of Lu Xun Literary Institute and graduate of First Writer Class, Peking University. He was drafted into the army in 1969. After demobilization, he served as deputy director of the News Department "the Literary Post", deputy director of the general office of China Writers Association, deputy chief editor of "Chinese Writers", chief editor of "Poetry Journal", director of Founding Department of China Writers Association, chairman of Chinese Literature Foundation, member of China Writers Association's leading party group, vice chairman, secretary of the Secretariat, and member of the 12th CPPCC National Committee. Currently, he is vice chairman of China Writers' Association and director of China Writers' Association Children's Literature Committee. He began publishing works in 1971 and joined the Writers' Association in 1984. He has published more than twenty children's poetry collections, including "Elephant Judge", "Goose Goose Goose", "Crocodile Who Eats Stone", "Secret of Shouting Spring", "I Like You, Fox", etc.; more than thirty proses including "Persian Cat", "Drunk World", "Interesting Life Talks", "Selected Military Essays of Gao Hongbo", "Ink Interest and Ink Rhyme", etc.; more than twenty children's fairy tales such as "The Secret of Bird Stone", "Fishing Lights", "Meet Bubu Rabbit", "Happy Piggy Joey", etc.; "Fairy Tales Carried on Goose's Back-A Glimpse of Chinese and Foreign Children's Literature"and "Love Words for Muses" and other four review collections, as well as poetry collections "Heart Sail", "Glory of Poetry and Poem in Jiangnan". In July 2009, "Gao Hongbo's Collected Works" (eight volumes) and "Gao Hongbo's Literary Collections" (nine volumes) were published in 2018. His works have won such awards as National Outstanding Children's Literature Award, "Five One Projects Award", National Book Award, Zhuang Chongwen Literature Award, Bing Xin Award, Chen Bochui Award, China Children's Publishing House "Golden Writer" and so on. The picture book "Happy Piggy Joey" series have been included in the classic China International Publishing Project and won awards such as the China Publishing Government Award Nomination and Bingxin Children's Literature Award. Copyright has been exported to France, South Korea, Malaysia, and other countries.
高洪波，笔名向川。儿童文学作家，诗人，散文家。1951 年12 月出生，内蒙古开鲁
县人。中共党员。鲁迅文学院七期、北京大学首届作家班毕业生。1969 年应征入伍。转业后曾任 《文艺报》新闻部副主任、中国作家协会办公厅副主任、《中国作家》副主编、《诗刊》主编、中国作协创联部主任、中华文学基金会理事长，中国作协党组成员、副主席、书记处书记。十二届全国政协委员、中国作协副主席、中国作协儿童文学委员会主任。1971 年开始发表作品，1984 年加入作家协会。
先后出版过《大象法官》《鹅鹅鹅》《吃石头的鳄鱼》《喊泉的秘密》《我喜欢你，狐狸》等二十余部儿童诗集；《波斯猫》《醉界》《人生趣谈》《高洪波军旅散文选》《墨趣与砚韵》等三十余部散文随笔集；《鸟石的秘密》《渔灯》《遇见不不兔》《快乐小猪波波飞》等二十余部幼儿童话；《鹅背驮着的童话——中外儿童文学管窥》《说给缪斯的情话》等四部评论集以及诗集《心帆》《诗歌的荣光》《诗雨江南》等。2009 年7 月，出版了《高洪波文集》（八卷本），2018 年出版《高洪波文存》（九卷本）。作品曾获过全国优秀儿童文学奖、“五个一工程奖”、国家图书奖、庄重文文学奖、冰心奖、陈伯吹奖、中国少儿出版社“金作家”等奖项。“快乐小猪波波飞系列”图画书被列入经 典中国国际出版工程，荣获中国出版政府奖提名奖、冰心儿童文学奖等奖项，版权输出到法国、韩国、马来西亚等国家。
