Tiempo de una plegaria sin respuesta
y sin intento
Me levanto sin ganas de recomenzar
y abro la ventana
Afuera
las palomas
están horrorizadas
Ellas han visto las ventanas de las cárceles
El silencio aullando la miseria
........................
Camino para atrás
Y vuelvo a la cama
que me recibe sin prestarme atención
Agarro mi portafolio y lo lleno de culpas y dolores
Nadie sabe que adentro

I opened the window
outside
the pigeons were terrified
to have seen through
the cell Windows
the howling silence
and misery

I stepped back
into bed
and the bed accepted me
insouciantly
I clutched the folder
with guilt and pain
no one knows what’s inside

Salvador Marinaro is a poet, writer and literary critic from Argen¬tina. In 2010, he published the collection of poems Symphony of Ver¬tigo, and in 2018 the book A Decent Sorrow. His stories and chronicles have been published in many journals, such as “Ñ”, “Anfibia”, “Altaïr”, “Brando” and “Página/12”. For his work, he was awarded the Azuce¬na Villaflor Prize by the Mothers of Plaza de Mayo and the Argentine Ministry of Culture. In addition, he has won the Argentine Northwest Literary Award and the Filosofía Sub-40 Award, an award given to the best essayist under 40 years old. He has been selected as a Writ¬er-in-Residence at the Swatch Art Peace Hotel in 2021. Since 2019, he has been working at Fudan University in Shanghai and co-editing the magazine “Chopsuey” with Lucila Carzoglio.


萨尔瓦多·马里纳罗，阿根廷诗人、作家和文学评论家。2010 年， 出版了诗集《醉人的交响乐》。2018 年，出版了故事集《一份体面的悲伤》。他写的故事、纪事被发表在诸多期刊上，如Ñ、An-fibia、Altaïr、Brando、Página/12 等。同时，他还为国际传媒撰稿， 比如《纽约时报》和中国国际电视台。作品被“五月广场母亲” 以及阿根廷文化部共同授予阿苏塞娜·维拉弗勒奖。曾获阿根廷西北地区文学奖以及菲洛索菲亚四十岁以下奖（该奖项专门授予当年年纪四十岁以下最好的随笔作家）。2021 年，被选为斯沃琪和平艺术酒店的驻留作家。2019 年起，供职于上海复旦大学，和卢西拉·卡尔索格里奥共同主编Chopsuey 杂志。
