Levente Szente
En silencio como bellas palabras
(Traducido al inglés por Istvan Dabi
y al español por Alejandro Cortés González)
Az utolsó kép
Tekintete változott
Elszállt
A szoba falain keresztül
Vékony sziluettjeink
- Apu – várj, ne tűnj el még
- Búcsút kell vennünk tőled
Hadd legyünk az utolsó előtti emléked
The last image
His gaze was changing
Flying away
Through the walls of the room
Our thin silhouettes
- Daddy – wait, don’t pass yet away
-We have to bid farewell to you
Let us be your penultimate memory
La última imagen
Su mirada cambió
Se había ido
Atravesó las paredes de la habitación
Nuestras siluetas tenues
—Papá, espera, no desaparezcas todavía
—Tenemos que despedirnos de ti
Déjanos ser tu penúltimo recuerdo

Szeptember
Szél jön –
csak a láthatatlan
távoli ég morajlása
állandóan hallható
a szél simogatja a selymes füvet
ujjaival borzolja hajunkat
a heves viharról énekel
és az eső megérkezéséről
mondd meg manapság ki érti
az égből hulló cseppek üzeneteit
miért lettünk és vagyunk még mindig
mások védtelen játékszerei
jön-e másik szeptember
September
Wind is coming
Invisible only
The roar of the distant sky
Is to be heard constantly
The wind caresses the silky-like grass
Disarranges our hair with his fingers
Sings of the heavy storm
And of the rain have arrived
Tell me nowadays who understands
The messages of the drops from the sky
Why did we become and are still
Defenceless toys of others
Whether a new September will come
Septiembre
Llega el viento
invisible, tan solo3

Csak
Csak
Hogy minden megváltozzon és jobb legyen
Csak
Csak
Örökké égő tüzet akarsz
Egy igazi tüzet a szívünkben
Csak
Egy kezet ami fogja a kezed
Egy mosolyt egy nevetést a közeledben
minden nap
Csak
Egy megható
Hasonlót mint a tiéd
Amit
Adsz tovább másoknak
Only
You want
only
All to change and become better
You want
Only
Fire burning forever
A real fire in our hearts
You want
Only
A hand holding your hand
A smile a laugh nearby every day
Only
A touching
Similar to yours
What you
Pass to other on
Solo
Solo
Para que todo cambie y mejore
Quieres
Solo
Un fuego que arda para siempre
Un fuego real en nuestros corazones
Solo
Una mano que sostenga la tuya
Una sonrisa, una risa cerca de ti
cada día
Solo
Una caricia
como la tuya
Que
transmitas a los demás

Halkan, mint a szép szavak
Halkan, mint a szép szavak,
elfogynak a falvak, elapadnak a kutak,
a könnyek,
tavak.
mint cipők alatt a vándorút,
elvadulnak a kertben a fák,
megszűnnek a fohászok,
az esti imák.
az elhagyott házak repedezett falain, tégláin,
csipkés mintát ölt a moha, a szulák, a vadvirág
felnőnek bennünk a gyermekek.
dobozban maradnak a fényképek.
nevünk a csönd lesz, a sóhaj, a jaj.
Quietly like beautiful words
quietly like beautiful words,
villages disappear, wells dry up,
also the tears,
and lakes.
like dusty roads under our boots,
trees grow wild in the garden,
psalms will cease,
and evening prayers, too.
on cracking bricks of abandoned houses
a lace of moss, bindweed and wild flowers appear,
man’s not merely one
hope for being embraced.
all things are quiet memories, like beautiful old words.
the child within us grows up.
the photos remain in boxes.
our names will be silence, sighs, woes.
En silencio como bellas palabras
En silencio, como bellas palabras
desaparecen los pueblos, los pozos,
las lágrimas,
los lagos se secan.
Como caminos polvorientos bajo nuestras botas,
los árboles del jardín se vuelven salvajes,
las súplicas,
las oraciones vespertinas cesan.
Sobre los ladrillos agrietados de casas abandonadas
aparece un encaje de musgo, enrredaderas y flores silvestres;

nem is alszom
nézlek csak szótlan egész éjjel -
mert amikor hajadban vagyok
ölellek és szorítlak
mint riadt fák gyökerei fogják az anyaföldet
látod - kisgyermekek viselkednek így az anyaölben
mint angyalok szárnyai között
ha fáj a feszülő fáradt őszi fény
kezed érintem s te
emlékül csak szorítasz nagyon
mert vállad meztelen
holdfény játszik rajta puhán
szépen és nesztelen
pontosan úgy
ahogy megszerettetted ezt álmaidban
velem.
Because at times I dream
Because at times I dream
that I'm not even asleep
just watching you silently all through the night
because when I am in your hair
hug and grip you
like the roots of startled trees hold mother earth
you see - toddlers behave this way in a mother-lap
like between angel-wings
when the stretched tired light of autumn hurts
I touch your hand and you
just grip me tightly in a way to be remembered
because your shoulder's bare
softly the moonshine plays on it
noiselessly and nicely
exactly as
you had endeared this for me
in your dreams.
