But the Music Starts in My Bones

The music which is in my bones made my fly
Let me see my block in the sky
My home shattered everywhere

I was restricted by the buttons of the threshold
I can’t talk, the fence falls when I talk

I can only stand still
I can only watch the time fly by beyond my hair

I do love my vita, my life, I certainly do
Of course, I’d like to use a iron fan
To blow out all of the stars away
From the dark night

Only in this way can I be humble, can I be small
Can I be taken by anyone
With his pocket

But when the music starts in my bones
The sun shines between my teeth
I can only fly with my hair!
I can only give my hand to nobody
Like a storm, like kissing the human homes.




但音乐从骨头里响起

从骨头里升起的音乐让我飞翔，让我
高空的眼睛看到大街上
到处是我摔碎的家

我被门槛的纽扣限制
我不能说话 我开口就倒下无数篱笆

我只能站着不动
时间纷纷从头发上飞走

我当然爱惜自己的生命，我当然
愿意一柄铁扇把我的
星星从黑夜扇空

这样我就开始谦卑、细小，可以
被任何人装进衣袋
乐观地带走

但音乐从骨头里响起 太阳
我在上下两排并紧的牙齿上熠熠发光
我只能和头发并肩飞翔！我只能朝外
伸出一只手
像一场暴雨我暂时摸一下人类的家

I Feel Myself as a Towel

You left at sill,
looking at me in the end

Like a basin to wash
Maybe it is going to snow
New years ring the bell,

Ride the bicycle to escape
I feel myself as a towel

The beautiful straight lush tree
Just like a teebrush when winds
A bag wants to hold me

A notice wants to catch me
A nose wants to anger me

Glass seems to get out my sin
Me, myself, and old mop,
Always be held in other’s hands

The city like a tremendous ashtray
Everyone throw the butt.




我感到我一直是一块毛巾

最后你留在门槛上望我
像一只脸盆等待我洗

感觉下雪了
过年像骑自行车一样按按铃就逃走了
我感到我是一块毛巾

树真好看又笔直又有叶子
有风的时候像一支牙刷

有一只皮包老想装我
有一张布告老想抓我
有一只鼻子老想气我

玻璃好像不存在一样
楼梯你走它才有用

想叫你走出我的门槛
想说我自己是柄旧拖把
永远被别人捏在手上

这个城市像只大烟灰缸
谁的烟蒂都想往里扔

Liang Xiaoming

One of the representative poets of Chinese avant-garde
poetry.
In 1988, he founded the Chinese Pioneer Poetry Tongren
Poetry Magazine Tropic of Cancer.
In 1994, he won the Poetry Award for the 45th Anniversary
of the Founding of People’s Literature.
In 2009, the Consulate General of Germany in Shanghai
hosted a Sino German poetry dialogue between Liang Xiaoming
and Hans Bucher.
In 2014, the Shanghai Minsheng Art Museum hosted the
Liang Xiaoming Poetry Reading Conference.
In 2019, he was inducted into the Hall of Fame as one of
the top ten poets of 2018.
He won the Yang Wanli Poetry Gold Award and China
Annual New Poetry Award “Outstanding Creative Achievement
Award” in 2022.
He received the Golden Ivy International Poetry Award in
August 2023.
He won the 14th Wen Yiduo Poetry Award in 2023.
His third poetry collection Shenyou in 2025 won one of the
top ten literary books on the Chinese Writers Network.
His published poetry collections: Walking Barefoot with
Disheveled Hair, Blowing the Whole Winter Bright with a
Trumpet, Imprint - Liang Xiaoming’s Poetry and Long Poems,
Remembering Chang’an - Translating Tang Poetry Collections,
Divine Journey, etc.



梁晓明

中国先锋诗歌代表诗人之一。
1988年创办中国先锋诗歌同仁诗刊《北回归线》。
1994年获《人民文学》建国四十五周年诗歌奖。
2009年德国上海领事馆主办《梁晓明与汉斯·布赫——
中德诗歌对话》。
2014年上海民生美术馆主办《梁晓明诗歌朗读会》。
2019年获名人堂2018年度十大诗人。
2022年获杨万里诗歌金奖。
2022年中国年度新诗奖“杰出创作成就奖”。
2023年8月获金青藤国际诗歌奖。
2023年获第十四届闻一多诗歌奖。
2025年第3期诗集《神游》获“中国作家网文学好书”十
佳之一。
出版诗集《披发赤足而行》《用小号把冬天全身吹亮》
《印迹—梁晓明组诗与长诗》《忆长安——诗译唐诗集》
